LiqTech Scales Up Produced-Water Reuse with QureFlow™ Max

LiqTech International Inc. is strengthening its position in industrial water treatment with the launch of its largest produced-water system to date, QureFlow™ Max. The system debuted at the Produced Water Society Conference 2026, signalling the company’s push into high-capacity, reuse-focused applications.

Designed for upstream oil and gas operations, QureFlow™ Max targets one of the sector’s most persistent challenges: consistent removal of oil and suspended solids under highly variable conditions. While desalination often dominates industry discussion, LiqTech positions pre-treatment performance as the decisive factor in successful water reuse strategies.

Built on silicon carbide ceramic membrane technology, the system delivers durability in harsh environments characterised by high salinity, temperature fluctuations and unstable feedwater composition. Configured in modular, skid-based units, each system supports high throughput, enabling large-scale reuse operations where uptime and reliability are critical.

According to company leadership, produced-water reuse has rapidly evolved from a sustainability goal into an operational necessity. The ability to maintain stable performance despite oil spikes, fouling and shifting water chemistry is increasingly central to reducing freshwater dependence and protecting downstream processes.

Field data from North American operations indicate that QureFlow™ Max can remove more than 99% of oil and suspended solids while maintaining consistent output under fluctuating conditions. The system is engineered for automated operation and can be deployed in both fixed and mobile configurations, integrating with existing infrastructure without requiring major process changes.

By focusing on the critical pre-treatment layer, LiqTech aims to position QureFlow™ Max as a cornerstone technology in produced-water management, supporting scalable reuse while advancing operational efficiency and environmental performance.
